Couponaro is a discount code site run by one person. There is no content team here, no scraper pulling in whatever it finds, and no wall of codes that quietly stopped working two years ago.

Why this site exists

I spent seven years buying paid search and social traffic for e-commerce brands. That job gave me an unusual view of the coupon web. I could watch in the analytics exactly how many people abandoned a checkout page to go hunting for a code, and how many of them never came back. Most were not finding anything worth the detour. They were landing on pages stuffed with dead codes, invented success rates, and countdown timers that reset on every refresh.

Couponaro is the version of that page I wanted to exist when I was on the other side of it.

How codes get onto this site

Codes come from three places: the brand’s own website and email programme, the affiliate networks the brand runs its programme through, and public tracking sources. Before anything goes live here, it is checked against at least one of those. If a code cannot be confirmed, it does not get published, even when every other site in the results is listing it.

That rule costs traffic. A page with three real codes will always look thinner than a page with twenty fake ones. It is still the right trade.

What “verified” means here, and what it does not

Discount codes expire without warning. A brand can kill a code at midnight and nobody tells the sites listing it. So rather than claim a code is working right this second, every page on Couponaro shows the date it was last checked. Read that date. If it is recent, the code is a good bet. If it is not, treat it as a lead rather than a promise.

If a code fails at checkout, telling me is genuinely useful. It gets pulled the same day.

What you will not find on Couponaro

  • Codes invented to fill out a page.
  • Badges claiming something was verified minutes ago when nobody has touched it in a year.
  • Made up success percentages.
  • Timers built to rush you into a purchase.

When a brand honestly has no code worth using, the page says exactly that, then points you at what does save money: first order sign up offers, student and military pricing, bundle thresholds, seasonal sale timing, or referral credit.

Who runs this

Elliot Long. Seven years in performance marketing on the advertiser side, now running Couponaro on my own. Every page here is researched, written, checked, and updated by the same person. When something on this site is wrong, there is nobody else to blame for it, and no queue to wait in before it gets fixed.

How Couponaro makes money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you use one and buy something, the retailer pays a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

What matters more is what that commission does not buy. Brands cannot pay to be listed here, cannot pay for better placement, and cannot pay to have a page rewritten in their favour. Pages are ordered by what is actually useful to someone standing at a checkout. That rule is the only thing that makes a site like this worth reading.
